Belgian-American Research Collection

The Belgian-American Research Collection was established by the Cofrin Library, UW-Green Bay, to help preserve and make available original materials reflecting the character of the Belgian community in northeastern Wisconsin. An architectural survey was conducted to identify typical Belgian architecture including log, stone and brick houses and oral histories were recorded to document the Walloon language spoken in Brown, Door and Kewaunee Counties.

Belleville Public Library

The Belleville Area Historical Society’s Frenchtown digitization project with the Belleville Public Library focuses on the history of the French immigrant settlement in the Belleville/Montrose/Exeter area as they began arriving in the 1850s through the 1920s. 3-D objects and photographs will also be on display in the library’s display cabinets.

Beloit Local History

City directories, phone directories, plat maps and other publications documenting the history of the city of Beloit and Rock County, Wisconsin from the 1890s to the 1940s.

Beloit Relays

From the 1930s through the 1970s, Beloit College hosted track and field events for athletes from more than 50 colleges and universities. This digital collection contains images of cover pages from the official Beloit Relays program booklets as well as photographs of some of the Beloit athletes who took part in the events.

Berlin, Wisconsin Yearbooks

“The Mascoutin” is the yearbook for the public high school in Berlin, Wisconsin. Berlin Public Library has digitized these yearbooks dating back to 1950.
