Delavan Historic Newspaper and Yearbook Collection
This collection includes full issues of two newspaper titles: the Delavan Republican (1868-1924), a weekly newspaper published in Delavan and the Wisconsin Times (1884-1968), a newspaper published by the Wisconsin School for the Deaf. Spanning the decades, these yearbooks, most commonly titled The Okato, though referred to in some years as The Bay Mist, document student life, academics, athletics, and community events, offering a rich visual and textual record of changing trends, traditions, and local culture. They give a glimpse of how the teenage experience has changed and stayed the same over many years.
