This collection contains items relating to Reedsburg’s history housed in the Reedsburg Public Library’s local history and archives department. Examples include: booklets from Reedsburg’s Butterfest, advertising flyers, programs from celebrations and plays, as well as brief histories written by individuals.

This collection is a set of photographs documenting the history of Reedsburg and surrounding communities.

Reedsburg Historic Survey Collection
This collection contains photos and surveys of architecturally and historically significant buildings in the city of Reedsburg which were compiled from 1983-1984. A slide show highlighting some of these properties and their architectural details is included in the collection.
Reedsburg Military Service: Company A of the 19th Regiment of Wisconsin Collection
This collection is about residents of Reedsburg and surrounding areas who were involved with Company A of the 19th Regiment of Wisconsin Infantry. The collection includes tintype portraits of soldiers from the U. S. Civil War.
Reedsburg Military Service: Company A Scrapbooks and Photographs
This collection includes two scrapbooks and miscellaneous photographs donated to the Reedsburg Public Library by Company A in 1978. Photographs, postcards and newspaper articles include activities of Company A, 1st Wisconsin Infantry (formerly Company B, 10th Separate Battalion), and Company A, 128th Infantry, 32nd Division.
Reedsburg Old Settlers Letters Collection
The Reedsburg Old Settlers Association solicited letters from its members from the late 1800’s through the middle of the twentieth century. Many of these were published in local newspapers at the time. The following original letters are located in the library’s archives and date from 1914 to 1956. The Old Settlers Association was active from 1876-2022.
