Travel Back in Time to Cedar Grove

In the late 1840s, immigrants from the Netherlands, due to political instability, religious difficulties, and economic challenges, began to arrive in significant numbers in Sheboygan County. Cedar Grove, a village within the Town of Holland, was one of the locations that became home to the new immigrants. Today, a working replica windmill in the center of the village and an annual festival pay tribute to its Dutch roots.
