Travel Back in Time to Elroy

The history of the railroad is, in many ways, the history of Elroy. The railroad spurred growth in the late 1800s and when the railroads declined, the land was sold to the Wisconsin DNR and developed into the “400” State Trail which begins in Elroy ends in Reedsburg. Images in this album come from the Elroy Public Library, the Elroy Area Historical Society, and the Wisconsin Digital Archives.
