We partner with the Milwaukee Public Library to offer a hosting solution for digital collections using the CONTENTdm content management system. This partnership provides online public access to your collection through a customized landing page as well as discovery through Recollection Wisconsin and the Digital Public Library of America. It is not a solution for storage or preservation of your digital objects.

Collection Hosting Steps

1. Review our policies:
   • Collection Policy
   • Copyright Policy
   • Participation Agreement
   • Collection Hosting Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)
2. Submit the Content Partner Application.
3. Schedule a consultation. We’ll help you develop a plan for building your digital collection.
4. Sign and return the Participation Agreement and Collection Hosting MoU.
5. Scan or reformat your original materials and describe each item using a metadata spreadsheet template we’ll provide.
6. Transfer digital files and metadata spreadsheet to us for uploading to your collection site, or get access to the CONTENTdm Project Client to upload files and metadata yourself.
